  Location of advertisement:
1. Header: This location is a premier location, since it is at the very top and can readily grab visitors attention.

2. Right column: This location gives advertisers the greatest flexibility in the size, and therefore cost, of the advertisement (see below).

3. Within body of page: On the protocol pages, advertisers can have their specific protocol located at the top of the other listed protocols. Visitors and prospective customers then see this protocol first and are more likely to try it.

  Sizes of advertisement:
1. Header: There are two size options in this location:
468 x 60 - Full Banner
234 x 60 - Half Banner

2. Right column: There are many different sizes for this location listed below:
120 x 60 - Button 1
120 x 90 - Button 2
120 x 240 - Vertical Banner
125 x 125 - Square Button
160 x 600 - Wide Skyscraper
120 x 600 - Skyscraper

3. Location 3 typically contains text advertisements, and at present is only available for the protocol pages.

    Advertisement options:
1. The base package will show your advertisement randomly throughout the EverythingBio website. Your advertisement will be seen by thousands of individuals with an interest in biology. For an additional cost, advertisers can target a more specific audience (see below).

2. You can target a specific general categories such as Protocols, Glossary, Grad-school, etc.

3. If you want to reach a broad audience you can target general biology fields such as Anatomy, Biochemistry, Genetics, Molecular biology, etc.

4. You can advertise on specific pages. For example, you can advertise on the glossary page describing RT-PCR or on the transfection protocol page. You can target your specific audience.

These different options are displayed with different priority. Priority is set based on the specificity of the advertisement. Advertisement on specific pages (option #4) is shown first, then general field advertising (option #3), next general category advertising (option #2), and finally random advertisement (option #1). This does not mean that random advertisement (option #1)will not be shown on a page that has specific page advertisement (option #4). The priority just affects the frequency of how an advertisement is displayed.

You can also increase the frequency of your advertisement being displayed by choosing to double, triple, quadruple, etc the frequency of the advertisement.

  Advertising report options:
When you advertise at EverythingBio.com you will be provided with real-time advertisement statistics. You can also set up your profile to e-mail the statistics to you whenever you want. There are many other report options as well.

The statistics provided are also more meaningful than other advertising companies. Adviews (when your advertisement is displayed) are only counted when they are viewed. Many other software only counts an adview when the page is loaded. At EverythingBio, an adview is only counted until after the advertisement is completely loaded. AdClicks (when your advertisement is clicked on) are also more accurate. EverythingBio only monitors unique visitors who click on your advertisement. This eliminates spammers who repeatedly click on an advertisement, thereby adversely affecting the statistics. With advertising on EverythingBio, you will be getting an accurate representation of the success of your advertisement campaign.
